200-4R AIR CHECK TEST CHECK PLATE

Description

You are buying a tool that is used to air check the clutches and the intermediate braking band in any GM Turbo 350 GM transmission.

• The tool is made of aircraft grade 1/4″ thick aluminum
• Comes with 20 flange head bolts for years of trouble-free service

It bolts down in place of the valve body and allows the transmission rebuilder to apply air pressure into the transmission once it’s assembled.  This is a good double check and an excellent way to diagnose internal leaks or damaged seals before installing the transmission.

Simply apply air to the holes provided and it will check the following internal components:

• Forward Clutch
• Direct Clutch
• Reverse Input Clutch
• Over Run Clutch
• 4th Gear Clutch
• Low / Reverse Clutch
• Intermediate (2nd) band apply
• Intermediate band release (3rd accumulator)
• 3-4 Accumulator Apply
• 3-4 Accumulator Release
• Governor oil circuit
• Reverse boost valve
